This site is a way for me to put in writing the knowledge I’ve learned from others or hope to learn in the future about attaining an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset. I think that this mindset is worth going through the trouble to obtain because it can open many new opportunities that you would not have had by default. I don’t think it’s necessary to want to be a full-blown entrepreneur to benefit from an entrepreneurial mindset. For example, the average working person can create many new opportunities for themselves and others outside of work, at home or in social circles, by having a mindset that is innovative and entrepreneurial. I hope that the blog posts, book reviews and other content on this site helps you come closer to having this mindset.

About Kevin Kauzlaric
Hi, I’m Kevin Kauzlaric, a former United States Marine turned digital analyst (& entrepreneur in 2011) currently living near Boston, MA. As soon as high school had let me go from its grip I flew to San Diego, California to begin boot camp to attempt to earn the title of United States Marine. 
I eventually graduated from boot camp’s three grueling months of mental and physical stress and went on to learn and practice military leadership throughout my subsequent four years of work in the aviation field. To this day, I attribute the qualities and principles I now use such as leadership by example, adaptability in the face of uncertainty, and dedication to a mission, to the training I received in the U.S.M.C.
After leaving the military I plunged into an education and career in financial analysis working in a consumer goods manufacturing firm and later at a health insurance company. Now many years later, I’ve taken this data-driven mindset and combined it with a marketing management education having completed an MBA at the #1 program for Entrepreneurship at Babson College.
The program at Babson College has been exceptional because I not only received the analytical business frameworks that every top-notch MBA program offers for managing an enterprise, but also obtained the very different tools and approaches required for early-stage startups and growing businesses.
These days I work as a marketing analyst for a digital marketing agency in Evanston, IL. I also own my own eCommerce company called Northwoods Humidors. My site specializes and focuses on cigar humidors. Check it out if you have a spare moment!
